So Nice To Meet You - I'm Linds
I’m drawn to the ordinary moments that turn out to be the important ones. The way life feels in real time - soft, playful, familiar, fleeting.
My work is rooted in presence: your hands, your rhythms, your home, your story.
Motherhood changed the way I see the world. It slowed me down - in the best ways.
And now I photograph the kind of memories I wish I had more of:
everyday love, unfiltered and honest. If you're looking for something gentle, soulful, and real, you might be in the right place.
Documentary maternity, newborn, family, motherhood, and birth photographer in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A few things that shape the way I see.
The heart behind my work
I have three children - a little girl and twin boys. They’re the reason I fell in love with documenting the small, everyday moments. They remind me that the ordinary things often end up being the most important.
The way I learned to notice
I’ve always been the person quietly noticing things - a hand on a shoulder, sunlight in the kitchen, laughter from the next room. Photography became the way I learned to hold on to those details.
What matters to me
I love simple days, warm company, familiar places, and slow afternoons. Home feels like the heart of everything. Most of my favourite memories look like nothing special - and feel like everything.
Where art meets memory
I studied visual communication and was in the advertising space long before I ever picked up a camera, and I’ve always loved thoughtful design and the way small details come together. That background stayed with me - the softness, the intentional choices,
the way art and feeling can meet in the middle. Now my work is less about pictures and more about memory -
a blend of honest moments and quiet design, shaped with care.
